House with shop. Late C19 with altered C19 shopfront and other
C20 alterations. Red brick in Flemish bond with ashlar
dressings and shopfront of cast-iron and timber; stone coped
gable and finial to slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and attic; 1-window gabled front with
cross-glazed oculus to attic. Shopfront, beneath plain cornice
and fascia with blind box, has glazed shop door between
slender reeded Composite columns to left of 3-light plate
glass window with moulded spandrels and colonnette mullions.
Upper floor windows are paired 1-pane sashes, those on first
floor with square shouldered lintels, on second floor
segmental brick arches with faceted keyblocks and stone
inserts extended to form impost band. On first and second
floors, painted stone sills extend as flat sill bands.
