Mounting block and gate posts set in the angle between the
drive entrance to Higher Staplehill (qv) to the left and a
field gate at a right-angle to the right. Mid C18 - mid C19.
Limestone rubble and granite. A rubblestone base supports 4
granite treads; attached to the left and right are granite
gate posts.
