Shops with flat/storage over. Late C14 with C17 rear wing and C19 alterations. Timber-framed, front rendered to No.101 and with painted brick to No.103; slate roof, hipped on north-west end; stack on south-east flank and behind north-west end. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range 1st floor of No.101 is ashlar rendered and has a C20 three-light small-paned casement window; 1st floor of No.103 has C19 canted oriel with sash window with plate glass to front, small panes in flanks. Ground floor of No.101 has deep C20 perspex fascia and C20 hardwood small-paned shop front with brick stall-riser. No.103 has perspex fascia and C20 shop front with plate glass and recessed door within canted entrance area. North-west flank of front range is of ashlar rendered brick with recessed margin-glazed sash window and stump of stack. Wing behind No.101 is of 2 storeys and is rendered with gabled roof. The 1st floor has one 12-pane sash and a C19 eight-pane window. The ground floor has a 12-pane sash window. Gabled 2-storey extension behind No.103 is rendered with gabled roof. INTERIOR: No 101 is a 2-bay cross-wing of late C14 or early C15 with cambered tie beam, jowled posts and heavy tie-beam brace. Rear extension is of C17 framing. No.103 has some remnants of framing including a boxed spine beam with quadrant moulded chamfers.
