House, now shops and flats. Early C18 with late C18 and early
C19 alterations. Brick in Flemish bond with pantiled roof.
L-shaped plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 5 bays, with 2nd floor windows reduced
in number from 5 to 3 in the early C19. The windows are
glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick flat arches. On the
ground floor there are 2 shopfronts with timber fascias and
recessed central doorways. Between them is a doorway which has
a door of 6 raised and fielded panels, an overlight, an
architrave, and a dentilled modillion cornice hood on console
brackets. The facade has a band above the first floor windows,
and a modillion gutter cornice. To the left of the central bay
there is a lead rainwater hopper and downpipe. Chimney behind
ridge towards right.
