House, now shop and flat. c1700, altered late C18 and late
C19. Painted brick with pantiled roof behind parapet.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and one bay. The first floor window has
paired sashes without glazing bars. On the ground floor there
is a shopfront of c1900, with 2 glazed doors, a central shop
window, and 4 fluted pilasters with brackets. Below the
parapet there is a brick string course. At the left there is a
downpipe with a lead hopper which is dated '1770'.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Reported by RCHM to be built as small
2-storey house with 2 rooms on each floor and small staircase
projection. In the late C18 rooms were added at the back under
a second span roof, and at a later date the 2 roofs were
incorporated into one.
