C18. 2 storeys and attic, red brick with band between storeys. Hipped old
tile roof. Symmetrical block of 3 bays with a slightly lower, recessed extension
to right hand. Separate modern additions to back and to left. Main block has
2 3 light dormers flanking central 2 light dormer. 2 tripartite flush architrave
framed sashes to both floors, glazing bars intact. Central entrance with early
C19 marginal glazed double doors in plain surround with plain arched fanlight
and doorcase of pilasters, flat curved brackets to broken entablature and open
dentil pediment. Single central window on lst floor over door. C18 extension
to right with early C19 canted bay window, sash lights, glazing bars, moulded
cornice over much larger canted bay with moulded cornice on ground floor.
Additional late Cl8 early Cl9 extension with one flush framed sash window on
1st floor and on ground floor a door of 6 flush panels under porch formerly
with Doric columns, renewed in plain wood.
