Pair of adjoining cottages, the right-hand cottage converted to village post office.
Circa 1860-70. Rendered stone rubble. Slate roof with gable end brick stacks and
crested ridge tiles.
Plan: 2 single room plan cottages, that to left retaining entrance passage, with
slated rear outshut, that to right converted to shop with 2 storey gable ended late
C19 extension to rear.
Post Office Cottage has 2 window range, C19 2-light casements, 3 panes per light,
above 3 light casement, 3 panes per light to left of 4-panelled door, the upper
panels partly glazed. Post Office to right has large 3-light window, 3 panes per
light above C20 4-light window to left of doorway.
