1697. Single-storeyed range in red brick grouped about 3 sides of a small
courtyard, with low stone closing wall in front. 2 cambered 2-light casements
and one to each projecting wing. 6 moulded wood doorcases. Central enriched
armorial cartouche of stone. Wings have gabled ends, stone quoins and plinths.

School House, No 1 Hill View Road, and Russell Almshouses form a group.
