ST 9958 POTTERNE COURT HILL

14/124 No 34

GV II

House, C17 timber-frame, raised and clad in red brick in late C18
to early C19, with thatched roof, hipped to west, half-hipped to
east. One ridge stack, to left. Two storeys with first floor
casement pair and 2 triple casements, ground floor casement pair,
door and two triple casements. Lower openings have cambered
heads. Signs of several phases of building, high plinth to right
of door, partly in rubble stone and straight joints in brickwork.
On east end wall the original roof line is visible from exposed
tie-beam and collar truss. West end wall mostly renewed in C20
and casements all renewed.
