Small early Cl9 terrace. 2 storeys red brick on stone plinth. Low pitch gable
end slate roof, moulded eaves. Symmetrical block, each house has one 2 light
casement, small paned lights arched at top, some renewed, and plain doors.

The Tollgate Inn, Southampton Road and Nos 1 to 7 (odd) form a group.
