1882-3. Architects A E Street ant A W Blomfield (executing a design of 1881 by G E Street, who had died in the meanwhile). Red brick. Hipped tile roof with balustraded platform. Brick chimneys with cornicing and arcuated panelling.Two storeys and attics. Elaborately carved wood modillion eaves cornice.Two lower flanking blocks.Two-five-two ranges of sashes with glazing bars and moulded brick jambs. Moulded brick aedicule with scrolled broken pediment in centre of ground floor.Two elaborate wooden oriels in mid-C17 manner, added by Edwin H Crocker in later 188O's.Three attic dormers with casements and glazing bars,two with segmental, one with triangular pediments. Rusticated brick quoins. C House, B House, The Museum Block, The Arcade, The Bradleian Building, The North Block, the Porter's Lodge, gates and railings, the Chapel, and A house form a group.
