Later C18. By John carr. Large stone house. 3 storeys. 5 windows plus single
storeyed wings of 2 windows each. Round-arched entrance with fanlight and
pair of engaged Doric columns supporting pediment. Balustraded aprons to 1st
floor windows continued in parapet to wings. Main cornice topped by blocking,
raised in centre. Slated roof. C19 iron lamp on bracket to entrance. Returns
rendered and rear elevation as front without doorway. Interior of some interest,
not accessible at time--of inspection.
Rear of house in prominent position.
