House, now office. c1860. Brick with slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 2 bays. The windows to the upper
storeys are glazing bar sashes. At the right on the ground
floor there is a canted bay window with a felted roof. It is
sashed and has colonnettes at the angles and timber panels
below the ground-floor windows. The base contains cellar
windows with glazing bars. At the left there is a doorcase
with paired clustered columns with caps which have
crocket-like projections and with a cornice. Above the 4-panel
door there is a rectangular overlight. Below the cornice
gutter there are timber dentils, and above the 2nd floor
window arches there is a course of saw-tooth brickwork.
Chimneys to right in front of ridge and shared at left.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: the basement area is enclosed by iron
railings with cast finials, set into a stone coping.
