C16-C17 or early timber-framed building; flattened N-Shape. Timber-framing visible externally in west gable end where there is also a large external brick chimney stack; roof forms pentice here to the north side. The south side of this wing forms a right angle with a north-south wing; both sides of this 90 degrees angle are faced with clunch; in the south side of the east-west wing, a casement window above and another below with segmental relieving arch; half glazed door; Sun Insurance Policy plaque. In west side of north-south wing 3 casement windows above and below, lower ones with segmental relieving arches over. Elsewhere, brick cladding; irregular bricks. Half-hip at east end. Timber-framed structure within. Within the rest of the house, the timber-framed structure is virtually untouched; roof not inspected. Large 4-centred fireplace at north end of north-south wing.
