2/188 Bobbins Farmhouse

Farmhouse, formerly public house. Probably C18. Red and grey brick in
Flemish bond. Plain tile roof. 1½ storeys. Single-course plat band
to left of door. Slightly lower chamfered brick offset to right, above
which first floor has two "chainâge" strips shadowing ground-floor
window. Roof gabled to left, hipped to right. Brick gable-end stack
to left, and ridge stack to right of centre. Two small two-light eaves
dormers with hipped plain tile roofs. Irregular ground-floor
fenestration of 3 small casements; one single-light to left end, one
four-light towards centre, and one three-light with segmental head to
right end. Boarded door under stack. Red brick lean-to addition to
right, slightly overlapped by extension of eaves of main range, hip
continuing as lean-to roof. Single-storey brick addition to left, with
hipped plain tile roof. Two-light casement to each lean-to. Interior
not inspected.
