Stable block at Brawith

Stable block. Mid-late C18. Red-brown brick in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings.
Hipped Welsh slate roof with later brick stacks. One storey. Central, slightly
projecting pedimented entrance bay with single-bay side wings. Plinth. Central
nail-studded plank door in Gibbs surround flanked by sashes with glazing bars.
Quoins. Outer bays have 16-pane sashes and further quoins. Gauged red brick flat
arches with keystones and stone cills to windows. Modillion cornice and pediment
containing clock. Central wooden cupola with weathervane.
