Hall house, now divided and extended to rear. Late C15/early C16. Timber framed
on rubble plinth, clad in brown and red brick, whitewashed brick on porch, and
red brick crosswing to left end. Steeply pitched plain tiled roof with hip and
gablet to right end, and hipped over cross wing to left. Two storeys on cross
wing, one storey and attic to right under two gabled,through-eaves leaded case-
ment dormers. Massive multiple stack inserted to right of centre, further stacks
to rear. One leaded casement window on each floor of cross wing to left, three
cambered head casements to ground floor right. C20 studded door in gabled porch,
half-open, to right of centre. Further door to rear left in C20 extension and
door to right end in single storey hipped roof extension.
