House. Probably C15/C16 origin altered C18, C19 and C20. Timber framed, red
brick faced. Red tiled roofs. Large red brick concertina shaft chimney stack
to original hall, external stack to right crosswing. Hall house with right and
left crosswings. Central band. 2 storeys. 1:1:1 window range of various small
paned vertically sliding sashes, central ground floor casement. Off centre
right 6 panel door, fluted surround, fluted frieze, flat canopy. Crown
Insurance plaque to first floor of hall. Interior features include, one room
with restored C18/C19 panelling and cupboard, exposed heavy timber to one wall
of present hallway. Most features are now covered, north wing said to have been
rebuilt C19. There is a pump attached to rear wall.
