Holyrood Farmhouse (Formerly listed
under French Mill Lane)

Probably mid to late C17. Farmhouse is T-shaped and has 2-storey, 4-window,
ashlar front. Weathered string. Later pointing to stonework. 2-light
stone mullioned windows with chamfered mullions and frames. Doorway has chamfered jambs and 4-centred head. New slates to roof and new brick chimneys.
A fine house now (1970) showing decay. Interior has original staircase (not in site) also decorative mural designs .
