Farmhouse. c.1820-30, altered C20. Timber frame on brick base, roughcast.
Black glazed pantiled roof. 3 bays. 2 storeys and attic. Original front to
garden has a central part glazed fielded 4 panelled door, architrave to
dentilled brackets to hood in a C20 gabled porch, C20 casements, double offset
plinth, boxed eaves. Broad gable ends, extruded stacks with separate chimney
breasts meeting in common shafts over a relieving arch under which are attic
lunette windows. To left a C20 lean-to outshut, to rear right a pantiled
brick-oven outshut. To rear an entrance to right of centre, inner 4 panelled
architraved door in a C20 gabled porch; flush frame glazing bar sashes,
tripartite to outer bays with ground floor 12 panes and first floor 6 panes,
small sashes to centre. To rear left a 1 storey and attic dairy wing with an
entrance towards main range. Interior: top-lit central staircase with X slat
balusters, moulded newel posts and handrails swept round to first floor
landing, a further flight at right angles to a curved attic landing.
