Pair of Arbury Park estate cottages. Circa early C17 remodelled as a pair of estate cottages in circa mid C19. Timber framed with brick infill all rendered and with chamfered blue brick window and doorway dressings. Plain tile roof south of added ends and moulded bargeboards. Blue brick axial and gable end stacks with yellow brick shafts.
PLAN: a timber-framed range was converted in circa mid C19 into a pair of two room plan estate cottages, the right hand (west) room of No 352 appears to be a C19 addition.
EXTERIOR: one storey and attic. Symmetrical four window north front, the attic windows in gables. All in chamfered blue-brick openings with hoodmoulds; ground floor three-light, first floor two-light C19 casements. Two doorways in similar openings and with plank doors with cover moulds. At rear (south) gable to left and right, casement windows and small red brick single storey wing at centre.
INTERIOR: the box-frame structure is exposed internally, jowled posts, some straight tension braces, partition walls with tie-beams and collars, large side purlins on backs of principals, wall plates and cannon rafters intact resting on diagonal ridgepiece; some mortices for missing windbraces. Floors supported on chamfered axial beams; the beam in the left hand room of No 352 has straight cut stop at one end and is supported on applied console bracket with carved lozenge pendants. Central axial stack between the two cottages has back-to-back fireplaces with high chamfered timber lintels.
