1868. Red brick with white stone dressings. Tiled roof. Irregular plan. gabled with corner
turret. Corner single storey porch, in angle between turret and side of building, with Tudor
arch. Elaborate iron door and balcony above with iron railing. 2 storeys. Generally 2 bays,
casements with glazing Bars and Jalousies. Square bay ground floor at side. Monogram on
plain stone shield on turret.
The gate, gate piers, lamp, railed wall and lodge at Moorlands Bible college form a group
with the milestone opposite.
