Post office. Early C19. Roughcast and scribed as ashlar, coped verges, bitumenised slate roof, truncated brick stacks.
Two storeys, 2:2 bays, those to right set back, a plain pilaster between the bays and to each end, 12-pane sash
windows, stepped voussoirs; double shop front to ground floor of left 2 bays, curved 20-pane fixed-light window to each
side of three-quarter glazed doors with ornamental glazing bars and a transomlight, polished brass sill to each window;
continuous serpentine facia fo fluted pilasters, moulded cornice overall. Further opening to right, in a semi-circular
headed recess, emphasised voussoirs, 6-panelled door, fanlight.
