Accommodation bridge. c1769 - 71 with later alterations. Designed by James Brindley. Red
brick with later mid C19 brindled brick repairs and patching. Blue brick saddleback copings
terminating in stone copings. Stone capped end pier at south-west corner added in early C20.
Single, semi-elliptical arch spanning canal and towpath. Slightly cambered parapets, curving
outwards on plan. An example of an early Coventry Canal bridge.
