Farmhouse, now house. Probably C17 core, refronting dated on right return:- "J Harden 1830" on a tablet, below it an
heraldic shield. Stippled roughcast, bitumenised slate roof in 2 sections of slightly differing height, coped verges
and a centre coping to roof, 3 pairs of diagonally set rendered stacks. Gothick style. Two storeys and attic, 2:2 bays,
3-light casements, each light with a 4-centred head, stopped labels. Central door opening, 6-panelled door in a
conforming style; rendered and gabled porch, slate roof. Heraldic shield with crest between right 2 bays on first
floor, beneath raised lettering: "Battleborough". Cross-beamed ceiling to right ground floor room; this room also with
a wooden panelled East wall incorporating a niche cupboard, probably of the first half of the C18.
