House, late C16 and C17, timber framed and plastered with half-hipped thatched
roofs. Of one storey with attics with one gabled dormer on west side. C20
extension with thatched roof on east side with large gabled dormer on north
side. Gault brick stack through west side of roof and C20 casements with small
panes. Formerly 2 or 3 small units, the south end is of C17 framing with
straight bracing. At north end is a bay of heavy timber framing with internal
compression bracing at corners and jowled posts of probable late C16. Splayed
scarf with under-squinted abutments in top plate and probably re-used.
