4/77 Frying Pan Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse. Mid C18. Rubble stone, double Roman tiled roof with
brick stacks. L-plan with services and former stable to rear.
Two-storey, 3-window south front. Planked door with flat stone
hood on brackets, 3-light beaded mullioned casement to right with
hoodmould, 3-light cyma-mullioned casement to left. First floor
has central 2-light mullioned casement with 3-light mullioned
casement to centre; all cyma-moulded and with plastic framed
replacement casements. Left return has blocked 2-light mullioned
casements. Right return has 2-light cyma-mullioned casement,
parallel range to right with single-light beaded-moulded casements.
Lean-to rear extension, cyma-mullioned casements. Rear wing has 2-
light flush mullioned casements and planked doors, circular stone
pitching eye over planked door on east facing side.
Interior said to have blocked open fireplace.
