Milestone. Probably C19. Ham stone pillar, cast iron plaque. Pillar about
470 mm wide x 200 mm thick x 850 mm high with triangular top; plaque 370
mm x 300 mm overall, with shouldered segmental arched top and bottom, and
reads "YEOVIL 3".
This road was turnpiked in 1753 and was maintained by the Yeovil Trust,
(Bentley and Murless, Somerset Roads, SIAS, 1985),
