Weavers and Snowdrop Cottages

2 cottages. Late C17 - early C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble stacks
with C19 and C20 brick tops; thatch roof. Pair of adjoining cottages facing south.
Weavers cottage on left (west) end has 2 room plan with projecting end stack.
Snowdrop Cottage on right (east) end has 1 room plan with rear corner stack and rear
service outshot. Both 2 storeys. Overall 5-window front of late C19 casements with
glazing bars. Both have C19 plank doors, Weavers in the centre of a symmetrical 3-
window front and Snowdrop at right end. Roof gable-ended to left, half-hipped to
right.
Interiors are largely result of C19 modernisation but original features are probably
hidden. Late C17-early C18 large chamfered crossbeam is exposed in Weavers Cottage.
Roof not inspected.
