House, mid-C18 extended late C19. Ashlar front with rusticated quoins,
coursed rubble to rear; cut quoins and dressings; slate roof with one brick
(rendered) stack. South elevation in 2 sections. Original house 2 storeys,
5 bays, symmetrical. Plinth; central panelled double doors and 12-pane sash
windows, all in architraves. Gables with coping returned on deep footstones;
stepped-and-corniced end stacks, that to left rebuilt. Slightly lower 2-storey
extension to right has 3 renewed sashes in similar architraves on ground floor
and 2 above; coped right gable with stepped-and-corniced end stack. Set back
to right, tall screen wall with flat coping.

Left return shows 12-pane sash in raised stone surround, on 1st floor. Rear
elevation: central 16-pane sash stair window with Gothick glazing under pointed
arch, in raised stone surround with imposts; to right early C20 canted bay.

Large L-plan wing to rear of C19 part, and outbuildings to rear of screen
wall,altered and not of special interest.
