A C18 plastered front, with C19 alterations, to an earlier timber-framed house
(C16-C17) 2 storeys and attics. 3 window range, C19 double-hung sashes with single
vertical glazing bars. A rectangular bay projects in the centre front and there
are 2 canted bays on the ground storey. The attics are lit by windows in the
gables. A doorway on the west end has a wood doorcase with fluted pilasters,
triglyph frieze and an open pediment. Roof tiled, half hipped, with a dentilled
wood eaves cornice and a central chimney stack with 3 diagonally set shafts.

Nos 5l and 59 with Nos 44 to 54 (even) form a group.
