House. Mid-late C18 in 2 builds, the left half later than the right. Coursed
ironstone rubble, the left bay better dressed with brown Uppingham stone quoins.
C20 concrete tile roof, coped gable to left with ogee moulded kneeler, brick
chimneys to left and left of centre. 2 storeys, 2 bays. C20 wooden casements,
3-light with stone sills in left bay, 2-light placed irregularly with concrete
sills to right. Central C20 door. Ground floor openings have stone lintels with
keyblocks, the right of simpler form. Right bay also has traces of former
window openings with pale limestone surrounds. Single storey range of
outbuildings attached to left gable curves around corner of The Green and Main
Street.
