Former Lodge to Rockwood House, now private house. Early to mid C19. Rendered
brickwork, brick stacks, slate roof. A symmetrical central stair plan with single
depth layout to rear eaves stacks. To the road a blank recess to 4-centred arch at
first floor above a 2-light casement with glazing bars to interlaced 4-centred heads
in a 4-centred arch. Entrance front, towards Rockwood House (not included) 2
similar windows at each level, and central panelled door under 'tent' hood on
trellis cheeks. To the left short section of swept down wing wall with a C20
casement. At the back are 2 single lights to each floor, and 2 large brick earex
stacks. Low-pitched hipped roof to box eaves. An unspoilt example of lodge
building, matched by No 33 to the East (not included).
