Early C19 refronting of older building. The Devon and Cornwall Bank in 1863. Forms
a pair with No 54 (qv). 2½ storeys. 1 window. Welsh slate roof. Gabled, timber-framed,
plastered front. 1st and 2nd floors with architraved sash windows with sidelights
and glazing bars. Ground floor loggia over pavement carried on wooden Doric columns.
