Early C19 terrace, each 4 storeys and basement, 2 windows, except No 243, 3 windows.
Stock brick with parapet. Some rebuilding to No 241. Gauged flat brick arches
to sash windows, mostly with glazing bars. 1st floor cill band. Nos 241 and 243
have long windows with cast iron balconies. Doors of 4 or 6 panels with cornice
heads and radial fanlight. Houses may be older than facades.
Nos 229 to 243 (odd) with garden walls form a group.
