Pair of lodges. Mid C18, probably by J. James. Ashlar.
Embattled parapet with moulded band under hides the roof line.
Single central stack to the south lodge. Set on a plinth.
Rectangular plan. Single storey, single bay. With single
projecting bay to each side. Doorway with stable door to the
south lodge and double wooden door to north lodge. Both with
arched over-panels with single central cusp, with raised band
around all, rising to an ogee arch with finial. The rear face
has a single similarly arched glazing bar sash in similar
surround. Flanking the road side bay are single quatrefoil fixed
lights.
