1736 (datestone). House and barn in one range. Hammer dressed stone millstone
grit. Quoins. Plinth. Pitched stone slate roof. Coped west gable. Chimney with
tabling and moulded cap. 2 storeys. House: South elevation: Ground floor and
First floor; each have one 4-light stone mullioned window (double chamfered)
(2 mullions removed). One 2-light stone mullioned window (double chamfered)
(mullion removed). Ground floor has door with massive lintel, within modern porch
Barn: South Elevation: Large uneven lintel over part blocked door, with
inscription: JMB 1776. (Bamfered family). Small doorway part blocked. Lean-to
extension to east side. North West elevation: Lean-to extension with catslide
roof. One 2-light stone mullioned window.
