Former school built 1859 by Charles Turner, an enlargement of 1840's building
thanks to the munificence of Charles Hambrough of Steephill Castle. Gothicised
stone rubble. 2 gabled halls flank 2 storey centre with small gables over 1st
floor windows. Plate tracery lancets. Large 3 centred arched portal with dropped
dripmould on head stops - 2 doors separated by foliate capped column.
