Red stone mansion, probably circa 1870-80. Grounds now developed as building estate.
House shows influence of German gothic with octagonal turrets steeply pitched
roofs and small gables, stone oriels, etc. Casement windows. Bargeboards. Slate
roof. Gabled porch. 2 and 3 storeys. A striking example of its style and period.
