Two tombchests. 1715 and 1789. Tombchest of Thomas Pearse of Holwell who died in
1715; Mary his wife, daughter of Degory Bettenson of Griles (gv Tregrylls) who died
in 1693; Richard Pearse their son (1720); Joan daughter of Hender Pearce and Joan
his wife (1740). Slate stone rubble chest with slate lid. Inscribed in upper and
lower case lettering of fine quality.
Tombchest of Thomas Pearse of Holwill in Davidstow, Gent, who died in 1789.
Inscrption also commemorating Mary Pearse (1753) and Hender Pearse (1762) who buried
nearby. Slate stone rubble chest with slate lid.
