House, now flats. c1770. Limestone ashlar facade and returns,
rubblestone rear, with hipped stone slate roof. Double-depth
plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 5-bay range. C20 horned
6/6-pane sash windows to the front and side bays, various C20
windows to the rear. Parapet, cornice, platband and plinth;
chamfered quoins to the facade. The 3 central bays are stepped
slightly forward under a pediment with steps up to a stone
Tuscan doorcase with engaged columns, entablature and pediment
with a raised-and-fielded 6-panel door. Both returns have
full-height canted bays close to the quoins with 6/6-pane sash
windows and 2- and 3-light sashes toward rear.
INTERIOR: not inspected but noted as having been altered.
