TQ 82 SW NORTHIAM MILL CORNER

House, possibly once two cottages. Probably early C19 extended to right in mid C19, refenestrated in C20. Timberframed, clad in weatherboarding on brick plinth. Tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks and further chimneystack in extension to rear. Two storeys; 3 windows. C20 casements. Two doorcases with flat hoods on brackets and C20 half-glazed doors. Ground floor has exposed frame. Outline of a building on this site on both John Adams Survey of Northiam 1821 and the Tithe Map of 1842.
