Two houses with shops, now a shop and a bank. Early C19.
Painted incised stucco, slate roof with stack to rear left.
Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range. Possibly formerly a
symmetrical 3-window range house with continuous eaves to a
lower-ridged wing to the left. 3/6-pane sash windows to the
1st floor, that to the left is over a late C19 shop front with
a cornice to the fascia (No.20A). No.20 has a C20 6-panel door
with a diamond-shaped pane to the overlight, raised surround
and cornice; 6/6-pane sash window to the left of it and a fine
early C19 bowed shop window to the right with reeded pilasters
and a moulded cornice to the fascia.
INTERIOR: the ground floor is altered.
