Barn and attached building. Probably mid C18 with mid or late
C19 alterations and additions. Rubble (mainly limestone) with
slate roof. The main barn doors have a timber lintel, with the
roof above projecting as a canopy. To the right a C19 building
projects forwards with a pitched roof parallel with the roof
of the barn. It has rock-faced quoins, and its front wall,
facing east towards the road, contains timber double doors
with plain reveals. The south gable wall contains timber
double doors under a segmental arch. The main barn wall to the
left of its doorway has 2 windows with plain reveals and
slate-hung timber lintels. Above there is a pitching door. The
south gable wall contains 3 shippon doorways with plain
reveals. The roof verge projects on timber brackets.
INTERIOR: not fully inspected. The roof trusses have tie beams
and collars and are of hardwood.
