House. 1926, by Oliver Hill. Grey brick; roof of black-glazed
pantiles with central battered stack. Rectangular plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. Principal facade dominated by
full-height central gable. Two mid C20 plate-glass
ground-floor windows. Three 2-light transomed casements to
first floor. To right and left of the gable on ground floor
are doorways. South-east and north-west gable-ends are
elaborately shaped in 4 tiers of ovolo curves, marked by deep
tumbling. Two 2-light cross casements to first floor of each
gable, those to north-west blocked to allow addition of a
single-storey utility building. One similar attic window to
each gable. South-east gable with date: 1926.
