1943-1/1/28 Nos.1 and 2 Lower Corfton

GV II

House, now 2 houses. C17, refronted mid C19. Dressed sandstone
rubble; timber-frame and plaster; plain tile roof; banded
brick end stacks.
EXTERIOR: single-storey and attic. Twin entrances: plank doors
in stone gable porches with ornamental bargeboards. 3 2-light
casements under hood mouldings; twin attic gables with 2-light
metal lattice casements, under similar bargeboards. Right
returned side: stone rubble. Left returned side: timber-frame
and plaster with rubble lean-to. Rear: timber-frame and
plaster.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
