Mirrored pair of semi-detached houses. Mid C19. Possibly by
Websters of Kendal. Limestone ashlar with slate roof. 2
storeys plus attic. Each house of 2 bays. Facade has a
rock-faced plinth, a 1st-floor sill band, and a bracketed
gutter. The windows are glazing bar sashes. Both outer bays
project slightly and have single-storey timber canted bay
windows. The 1st-floor windows have architraves. The doorways
are paired in the central bays and have 4-panel doors and a
Doric pilaster doorcase. Each house has a gabled attic dormer.
