Inn. Earlier C19. Painted brick; Welsh slate roof; brick end
stack to right; brick axial stack to rear.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 2-window range: 6/6 sashes and
central blind opening, under grooved and stepped stucco
lintels with keyblocks; 3/3 sashes and blind opening, under
similar lintels; moulded wood eaves. Central entrance: 8-panel
double doors, recessed under entablature with guttae, on
wooden pilasters; flanked by 6/6 sashes, under similar
lintels. Wing to left: two 6/6 sashes (probably to assembly
rooms) in shouldered moulded stucco architraves; stucco
cornice to brick parapet; to left, plank double doors, under
moulded stucco arch with keyblock, with linking band to
similar arch over altered opening with C20 tripartite window
with central 6/6 sash.
Right returned side and rear: roughcast; brick modillion
eaves; 6/6 and 3/3 sashes in moulded cases; 4-panel door and
barred overlight, under simple wood hood. Wing to rear with
stone steps to 1st floor; brick modillion eaves; hipped roof.
