GV II

Vicarage. 1843. Brick, with ashlar dressings and slate roof. 2
external gable and single side wall stacks with square flues,
some set diagonally. Tudor Revival style. Plinth, coped gables
with kneelers.
2 storeys plus attics; 2 x 3 bays. L-plan. Windows are mainly
glazing bar sashes with stone surrounds and mullions.
Entrance front, to west, has a central Tudor arched door with
mullioned overlight, flanked to right by an external stack,
and to left by a window. Above, 2 windows, and above again, a
through-eaves dormer. To left, a lower service range, single
bay, with a 2-light window, and above, a through-eaves dormer.
Right return, to south, has to left a projecting gable with a
window on each floor. To right, a square bay window, c1860,
with plain sages. Above, a window, and above again, a
through-eaves gabled dormer.
INTERIOR has a wooden open-well stair, moulded cornices,
chamfered round arches, and 4-panel doors.
