Includes: No.1 FILEY STREET.
3 houses, now offices. c1845, with late C20 alterations. Brick
with late C20 roughcast, stucco dressings and hipped and
gabled slate and artificial slate roofs.
Ashlar plinth. 2 storeys; 6 x 3 windows. Windows are mainly
12-pane sashes with projecting plain surrounds.
Wilkinson Street front has in the centre 2 windows on a
sillband, and below, 2 pairs of round-arched glazing bar
casements with pilasters. On either side, a slightly
projecting entrance bay with a single window, and below, a
stucco doorcase with Ionic columns and entablature, moulded
round-arched doorway, panelled double door and fanlight.
Beyond again, a single window on each floor, the lower ones
with moulded surrounds.
Right return, to Filey Street, has a round-arched window
flanked by single 12-pane sashes. Below, a doorcase with Doric
pilasters and cornice, 6-panel door and overlight, flanked by
single 12-pane sashes.
